Welcome to Paaslo ("we", "our", or "us"). Paaslo is a zone-based communication and discovery app that allows users to connect and chat with people in their immediate physical vicinity without exposing phone numbers or social media accounts.

Media & Device Data

• Camera & Gallery Access — accessed only upon your direct prompt to capture or select a photo to transmit as view-once media.
• Location Data — GPS coordinates checked strictly in the foreground while the app is active to verify presence in active zones.
• Push Notification Tokens — secure device identifiers used exclusively to deliver live strike and chat alerts.
• Device Identifiers — operating system version and technical parameters for app stability and security.

Information We Never Collect

• We never collect or require your full legal name or public permanent photo.
• We never track your movements in the background or store persistent GPS coordinate trails.
• We never scan, index, or harvest your broader personal photo library.
• We never monetize, rent, or sell your personal information or metadata to third-party ad networks.

Camera, Gallery & Ephemeral Media Disclosures

In accordance with mobile store privacy standards, Paaslo implements strict architectural boundaries around visual media:

• User-Initiated Selection: Paaslo requests camera and photo library access solely when you explicitly tap to send a photo inside a chat thread. We do not access background media without user action.
• View-Once Ephemeral Destruction: Sent photos are processed with temporary encryption. Once opened and closed by the recipient, the media payload is permanently purged from our database clusters.
• Screen Capture Defenses: Hardware-level capture blocking is active on Android, and automatic screenshot listeners on iOS actively terminate active media sessions if an interception attempt is detected.

How We Use Your Information

• To authenticate your identity securely via one-time SMS verification.
• To verify physical presence within local public zones (within 200m).
• To enable encrypted real-time chat and view-once photo exchanges between mutually connected users.
• To enable remote nationwide zone exploration for active Paaslo Passport subscribers.
• To route instant push notifications for newly received strikes and incoming messages.
• To enforce zero-tolerance safety policies, investigate abuse flags, and maintain a secure community.

Location Data

Paaslo uses your location data exclusively to calculate boundary proximity to active zones in real-time.

• Location is accessed strictly in the FOREGROUND while the application is visible on your screen.
• We do not utilize background location services and do not map continuous user movement.
• Your exact GPS coordinates are never displayed to other users; only relative zone membership is confirmed.
• You can revoke location permissions at any time through your mobile operating system settings.

Paaslo Passport & Billing Data

When you subscribe to premium features such as Paaslo Passport, all financial transactions are processed securely through certified, PCI-DSS compliant billing gateways (including Google Play In-App Billing, Apple In-App Purchases, and licensed payment processors).

Paaslo does not store raw credit/debit card numbers, CVVs, UPI PINs, or bank credentials. We retain only encrypted transaction tokens, purchase timestamps, and subscription expiration metadata to manage service access.

Data Storage & Security

Paaslo utilizes enterprise cloud infrastructure with end-to-end security safeguards:

• Encrypted data transmission over HTTPS and TLS.
• Strict database Row Level Security (RLS) ensuring users only access authorized conversations.
• Passwordless OTP authentication eliminating credential-leak vulnerabilities.
• Immediate server-side destruction of opened ephemeral media payloads.

Data Retention & Message Deletion

You maintain absolute ownership of your communications:

• Granular Deletion: You can delete single messages, multiple selected items, or wipe entire chat histories at any time.
• Zone Departure: Zone presence markers are removed immediately upon exiting a venue or closing the application.
• Account Erasure: Selecting "Delete Account" initiates an automated database cascade permanently wiping all profile details, message logs, and account nodes within 30 days.

Your Statutory Rights

In accordance with privacy frameworks, you retain full rights over your personal data:

• Access: Request a full copy of your registered profile metadata.
• Correction: Update or adjust your profile details directly inside app settings.
• Erasure: Permanently delete your account and associated communications.
• Consent Revocation: Revoke camera, photo library, or location permissions through device settings at any time.

Age Requirement & UGC Moderation

Strict 18+ Policy: Paaslo is strictly intended for users who are 18 years of age or older. We do not register or knowingly collect data from minors. Accounts belonging to minors under 18 will be terminated immediately.

UGC Safety: We maintain a zero-tolerance policy for harassment, non-consensual explicit media, or fraudulent behavior. Users can block and report any profile or chat message with one tap. Flagged content is reviewed continuously and acted upon within 24 hours.
